Launch too early, spend is wasted. Too late, you miss the peak. Nail the timing and your campaigns catch the audience right when they are most active
How to time it:
1. 1-4 weeks out — build awareness, push welcome offers
2. 48-72h before kickoff — free bets and odds boosters tied to the match
3. Through the season — always-on flow, with sharper spikes around derbies and finals
Key dates ahead:
— United Rugby Championship kicks off — 25-26 Sept
— Nations Championship: Springboks vs Italy (6-8 Nov), France (13-15 Nov), Ireland (21 Nov), final weekend at Twickenham (27-29 Nov)
— PSL season, including the Soweto Derby (Chiefs vs Pirates)
— Proteas fixtures, plus the 2027 Cricket World Cup on the horizon
This is the kind of timing insight our affiliates get as part of the program. Your manager will keep you posted closer to kickoff
